New Officers Announced at the 2025 WNA Convention

The Wyoming Nurses Association is pleased to announce that Faith Jones, MSN, RN, NEA-BC received 62.86% of the votes for the Vice President position.  Faith is from Powell and the owner of BeEngaged, LLC.  She has a long-standing involvement with WNA which includes roles as President, President-Elect, Legislative Chair, and District Officer.  She also had the privilege of representing Wyoming nurses nationally as a delegate to the ANA House of Delegates and as Vice President on the ANA Board of Directors. Throughout her career, she has been committed to advancing nursing practice, particularly in rural and frontier communities. She is passionate about the future of nursing and committed to using her experience, relationships, and vision to help lead WNA forward with purpose and impact.

Jennifer Stephens, MA, PhD, RN, OCN, CCNE, received 97.06% of the votes for the position of Secretary.  Jennifer is from Cheyenne and an Associate Professor at the Fay W. Whitney School of Nursing, University of Wyoming.  She has been the Secretary for WNA since 2023 and is excited to continue in this role. She is also the Co-Chair of the Practice Committee and the Founder of the Wyoming Nursing History Special Interest Group.  The debut of the Wyoming Nursing History Podcast occurred during the convention, and she is so excited to get to share it with our membership.  Watch more information coming soon!

The WNA Board of Directors is excited for the upcoming year and is thankful for all the members who ran during this election cycle.  In 2026, the Board will have several positions up for election.  The positions include President-Elect, Treasurer, and three (3) Director-at-Large positions.  If you have questions about these roles, please visit our website HERE or email director@wyonurse.com.
