Join us as Dr. Haley Hays DNP, APRN, FNP[1]BC, ENP-C, AGACNP-BC, Interim Assistant Dean and Clinical Assistant Professor from the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Nursing discusses Using AI in Clinical Care Settings. She currently practices as a Nurse Practitioner, Partner, and Lead Advanced Practice Professional for Aligned Providers of Wyoming with her primary practice site in Kimball, Nebraska for hospitalist and emergency medicine.
This is Part One of a Two-part series. An evaluation after the education will determine the next area of instruction to include full demonstration of AI products that can be used in practice.
Objectives
- Define key AI concepts and describe the various AI technologies currently used in healthcare settings.
- Critically assess the benefits and challenges of integrating AI into healthcare, considering factors such as accuracy, efficiency, patient outcomes, and ethical implications.
- Develop strategies for implementing AI tools in their practice, tailoring solutions to meet the specific needs of their patients and healthcare environment.
